As part of the family owned John Lord Group, Canal Engineering enjoys the enthusiastic support and financial backing of a fifth generation business celebrating over 100 years of dedication to business enterprise.
All drawing, manufacture and installation is completed by Canal Engineering employees. Having in-house structural engineering consultants also means they can offer design help and advice from the very early stages of any metalwork project.
Often the requirements of a project extend beyond the metalwork: Canal Engineering will take responsibility for the supply and installation of everything required; for example glass, timber or plastic, and liaison with other trades and contractors.
Production facilities include state of the art manufacturing machinery and equipment in Nottingham in the UK. All employees are qualified in all aspects of factory and site work and have the expertise to design and manufacture a diverse range of stainless steel and metal products. Canal Engineering has developed from a family culture to one that embraces modern management and manufacturing techniques. Today, there are around 100 employees in the Canal Engineering team:
